A mini version of our Classic Russian Doll Batt System. This product is specifically designed for smaller pottery wheels and tabletop wheels WITH Batt pin bolts in the wheelhead. It’s a two-in-one size system, manufactured from our Premium 12 mm thickness MDF. The batt diameter for this product is 250mm. If your wheel is 300mm or bigger, please click here)
The Tabletop Classic Russian Doll Batt System includes the following items:
– 1 x 250mm Master Batt
– 1 x 150mm to 100mm adaptor (made in 6mm Premium MDF)
– 10 x 100mm Tile inserts (made in 6mm Premium MDF)
– 10 x 150mm Tile inserts (made in 6mm Premium MDF)
This system is designed to fit a Shimpo Table Top Aspire RK5T which is 250mm diameter with 10mm batt pins located at 148mm centres – this is shown as an option in the drop down box. If you require bespoke batt pin positions you can select the “Yes – Bespoke Size” option on the dropdown and enter custom dimensions in the bespoke measurement box.

You can order extra inserts for this Batt System here. The 100mm, and the 150mm tile size will fit this system. Choose the 6mm thickness.
To Use:
Slot the master batt over the batt pin bolts on your wheelhead. Select either the 150mm, or the 100mm tile inserts size to throw on. Slot the tile into the master batt, and throw! When you’ve finished throwing your pot, remove the tile from the master batt and set it aside to dry. Put a new tile insert into the master bat and throw again.
How to look after this system:
Do not leave batts soaking in water. Wood is a natural Product and this could cause swelling or warping.
To clean just wipe with a damp sponge to remove any clay.
Remove the batts from the wheel when not in use.
Do not stack these batts together, dry & store vertically.
Do not use metal scourers or screwdrivers on these batts as this can result in damage.
