Tabletop Standard Batt System (Upto 250mm wheel)

The Hartley & Noble Tabletop Pottery Batt System - designed for small pottery wheels WITH batt pins. Ideal for wheels like the Shimpo Aspire or RK5-T. (If your wheel is larger than 250mm, please click here to view our other Batt Systems instead).

Includes the following;

- 1 x  250mm diameter Master Batt - cut to fit 100mm size tile inserts.

- 5 x 100mm size tile inserts with undercut lifting tab detail.

- Batt pin holes designed to fit 10mm batt pins located at 148mm centres.  

The standard wheelhead measurements for the Shimpo Aspire tabletop wheel are listed in the product options, but we can make this to fit any small pottery wheel up to a maximum of 250mm diameter. So if your wheel is different please click here and we will help you place a bespoke order at no extra cost.

We will drill the master batt with precision cut batt pin holes.  One is circular shaped and the other is slot shaped - this is so that your batt fits securely over your bolts, and is also easy to remove.  

To Use: 
Put the master batt onto your wheel, slotting the batt pin holes over the batt pins of the wheelhead.
Place a tile insert into the master bat (with the tab facing away from you).
Throw onto the tile insert.
Once you have finished throwing, lift the insert out of the master batt using the lifting tab.
Put a fresh tile in, and throw again!
 
How to look after this system:
Please do not leave tiles or batts soaking in water.  This could cause swelling or warping.
To clean just wipe with a damp sponge to remove any clay.
Remove the batts from wheel when not in use.
Please dry & store vertically. Once dry they can be stored stacked flat / horizontally.
Do not use metal scourers or screwdrivers on these batts as this can cause damage.
