Standard Tile Batt System (Batt Pins)

The Hartley & Noble Standard Tile Batt System (1 Batt & 5 x tile inserts) 

This batt system is designed for pottery wheels WITH batt pins.

Includes the following;

1 x Master Batt and 5 x Tile inserts made from our Premium MDF material.  
Choose from 6, 9, or 12mm thickness premium MDF. 

Batt systems made from 9, or 12mm thickness will have a lifting tab undercut in to the corner of the tile inserts. This feature makes it really easy to lift your tiles in and out of the system.   

The diameter of the Master Batt can be made bespoke to fit your wheelhead.  Batt Pins holes can be added at the pitch and diameter you need. We will drill one circular shaped hole, and one slot shaped hole - This is so that your batt fits securely over your bolts, and is also easy to remove.  Please click here for our video guide to measuring your wheelhead with batt pin bolts.  Always measure your own wheelhead because information in manufacturers booklets doesn't always reflect your own actual wheel.

Tile insert size is limited by the diameter of the Master Batt as follows;

For 200mm tile inserts - Minimum size batt required is 300mm.
For 150mm tile inserts - Minimum size batt required is 250mm.
For 100mm tile inserts - Minimum size batt required is 160mm.

How to look after me:
Please do not leave tiles or batts soaking in water.  Wood is a natural Product and this could cause swelling or warping.
To clean just wipe with a damp sponge to remove any clay.
Remove the batts from wheel when not in use.
Please dry & store vertically.
Do not use metal scourers or screwdrivers on these batts as this can cause damage.

If your order is urgent please let us know and we will try prioritise it if our other customer commitments allow.
